Town founder
Cost 12 (at tc)
Hp 15
Armor 0/0
Power 0
Speed 1
Sight 5
Spell resistance 100%
Can sacrifice self to lay a foundation for a tc, which must be completed by workers.
Probably separate images by race, but this is a way to, at extreme cost, build further TCS. Mind you they would take at least 6 turns to pay for themselves after accounting for the production of another factory building.

Re: Town founder
Yeah name is subject to debate. Each race probably needs a separate unit name. Stats and cost should all be pretty much identical though.
Probably only useful to make in mid game when you can afford to let a tc do nothing for 12 turns, to increase late game production. Early game it costs too much, and late game it just takes so long the game is probably over before you can use it. Might be shortened by money couriers, but that raises overall cost.

Re: Town founder
Should it be a normal unit for most games or require cheats enabled (like pea shooter)?

Re: Town founder
TC's are supposed to be unique.
I completely disagree with ability to build more TC's.
Even with such high cost.

Re: Town founder
What about an Outpost...
Building that all factions can have and fields only the associated factions' weakest units.
Men: Dogs and hawks
Orcs: goblin pikers
Elves: fairies
Undead: (unearth corpse)- like gravediggers
Try this... Goes with the concept, but isn't overpowered.

Re: Town founder
But, I'll have to agree with Makazuwr on this one...
TCs are a necessary objective to win. Doing this will make battles go on forever, literally... YOU WON'T FINISH THEM!!!
Not to mention, it would be nigh impossible to do something like that.

Re: Town founder
I'm thinking about brave's idea.
A building that can be captured after completed, base trainable at tc for a large amount of turns and that from one side doesn't count as tc so you can' with it increase buildings limit but from other side can train all units regular tc can exept of workers.
Can't reserach anything and is for spell-enabled games only.

Re: Town founder
So... What, will it be called a Town District or something?
It needs to be distinguished from TCs.

Maybe call it "Outpost"?
Also add them better sight range.

Re: Town founder
Sounds good
"Outpost" (suggestion)
Hp:75
Armor: 2
Pierce: 6
Sight: 6-8
Size: 1x1
Make it a simple Palisade Building or Tower
Use variations as needed, but best to keep it simple.

Re: Town founder
i ca only imageine it as a Legendary or Unique unit, so u have possibility to put exactly 1 TC into a selected position.
being able to swarm TC-s would kill the game.

Re: Town founder
This is not exactly tc Stratego, It can produce tc's own units for each race exept workers but it can't count as tc nor research anything.
AND it must be counted as spell unit so you can use it in spells enabled games.

Re: Town founder
I like Stratego idea. 1 TC into a selected position. choose wisely where you place it. Unique unit.

No, TCs are supposed to be unique and core of your base. Making more cores doesn't make any sense at all. Let's stick with the Outpost idea

Re: Town founder
I don't dislike the Idea but I think that should be a separate game mode (with a checkbox that enable this kind of units) or a variant of the Tc number (you start only with a settler and no tcs aside from those settled)
Also I think that, if possible, the cost should become progressively higher (so that, in the long run, you still can't make too many.
I also think that it might be interesting for single player maps (for example where you play the rise of a nation starting grom scratches).

Re: Town founder
We do have the capability to make a Game Mode like Civilization.
And or we can make it special building, since unique building is a thing. So one new town for everyone, but it has to have different from regular Town Center.

Re: Town founder
i guess the gameplay would b most fair for everybody if tc didnt spawn at random, but can b built and captured, like the civilisation series
it can b a different game mode too
it can b a different game mode too
There is no place for false kings here, only those who proves themselves to b the true kings of legend, or serves under me
