Drougr
In Norse mythology, Drougr is the one name to label all undead.
According to my research, It truly is a mix between Ghoul and Vampire
Drougr
Description: An undead unit that gets stronger as he kills enemies. He learns their fighting styles to become a formidable opponent and to eventually die in battle (again)
Build From: Barrow
Cost: 5 turns
Hp: 30
Attack: 10 (AOE 1)
Armor: 1
Pierce Armor: 3
Action/Turn: 1/1
Spell Resistance: 0%

Sight: 5
(Veteran Power)
Good vs other infantry 100%
Immune to poison, Vulnerable to fire
Power Range 1 (Orc Crusher Trample)
Can cast life link (same as Elf Sentinel casts Strengthen)

Re: Drougr
I suggested crypt for the reason that it was a smaller building.
I suppose that the mansion will work.
Nordic Undead were put in tombs or barrows.

They wield A two-handed axe to split apart enemy forces that are unfortunate enough to close with them.

It's just I was told to do 32x32. Didn't Know that was an option.

Let me try that armour style. That was what I originally meant to do.

Re: Drougr
Perhaps little wider body? It looks too slim now.

Re: Drougr
A little Svara, but remember to keep it inside the specified parameters.
It just needs a little more to fill it out.

Re: Droug
I like the mycology units
But.
1)Vision 3 Sight 5?
2)Also a bit weak for 6 turns.
And u should consider the other similar units eg. phantom pikemens.
Its hard, since - have to be unique ,not Op and useful too.
To Worth to train.
I see many suggested units but since no one is ready/accepted I can't say precise for this.
May be a part of mutants variants -idea is waiting for finishing and accepted...
3)For start image the bone chest one looked better imho.
Current is to tall and as I understood is not giant.

Thy gave me a sword to pierce a lie,
Serrated edge for the deamon inside
A moment I'm torn between two tides,
But all I need, I bear inside

Re: Drougr
Edited. Honest mistake...
Well, take these factors into account
1. It has veteran power (can become stronger than Phantoms)
2. Can lifelink, almost as powerful as a vampire, since it is a blood drinker
3. Has trample effect, like other races' berserkers (axemen, imperial Swordsman, etc)
4. And due to it's Nordic nature... It has bonuses against all infantry and cavalry, thus requiring a hero or dragon to put it down without too many losses.

Re: Drougr
You are right, it is not a giant, but rather a large speciman of undead. In life they were the tallest and strongest of the humans. Now... They serve as the line breakers of the undead!

Re: Drougr
They basically serve as minotours for undead. They aren't anti-cav.
