Artillery camouflage
In World War II, artillery could be camouflaged to prevent attacks from enemy planes and have its location uncovered.
In the game it could be like a construction that an engineer could build a camouflaged net with leaves that would hide it.
To avoid making it easy, if the artillery moves, it will lose its camouflage and can only recover it through an engineer.

Like gun camp.
I imagined this technology for field artillery howitzers such as LeFH 18 which are slow, as spgs are faster and the technology would require the cannon to be stationary.

Re: Artillery camouflage
I don't think this is possible. Also, I don't think you could see artillery from 2-4 km away all to more with camo.ZakTheBuilder1 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 12:25 am I could see this being good put it may be op as well

Re: Artillery camouflage
I did not know a block was a kilometer
So they have to be next to it to see it...

Yes, a single tile in game is assumed to be around 1 Km²...
The war is inevitable! But what if....

Re: Artillery camouflage
What if:
-It will cost 5 turn tech to research (Through TC-since germany is the only one with gun factory)
-It can be used by toggling the ability
-Enabling the ability would COST 1 action turn
-It works like infantry camouflage
-But the Artillery camo will be removed if it moves

It's better this way, I honestly don't use scout much, he would be more at the front on my shifts.

Re: Artillery camouflage
i think at the moment we will have the same problem as with the infantry units when planes are supposed to fly over them but are stopped by them. as long as stratego has not fixed this, there would be this problemDreJaDe wrote: ↑Fri Feb 26, 2021 10:59 amI don't think this is possible.
