Red Army Assault Sappers. +IMG

Alright this unit will be a pain to balance i guess...
Those Assault Sappers were extremely well trained and well equipped, with weapons ranging from flamethrowers to LMGs to also anti tank rifles, using at the same time anti personal grenades anti tanks grenades and coctels molotovs, even using captured panzerfaust; They will have also the construction speed of a engineer and finally they had the ability to clean up minefields.

They were escorted at the last stages of the war with modified T-34-85 equipped with flamethrowers. (Maybe later we can included in the game this t34 variant)

I am thinking of making them a mix of assault infantry and flamethrowers. It will take 3/4 turns to produce them and they will be armed with ppsh 41 guns and a ROKS flamethrower. generally they will be similar to panzergrenadiers but instead of being good against armored units, they will be good against buildings. I also think about giving them demolition charges but that will require new stats and a new img.

And what about the part of building? this unit primary role was to build defenses as a engineer and destroy the enemy ones.

And yes, they should be able to build basic structures, not all though.

Perfect! the Soviet Union really needs special units.
Maybe later we can make the Siberian divisions has special units.

And the stats can be something similar to Panzergrenadier and the Soviet SMG, with big bonus to fortifications and buildings, normal bonus to infantry.
What about the demolition charges also?

I tried, I failed. I'm terrible at drawing grenades so if anyone could draw a demolition charge, dynamite or even just a bundle of RGD-33 grenades I would be very thankful.

It's truly beautiful Slav!
and respecting the demolition charge the only thing that pops up is something called SZ Charges and the 6 variants of it.
