Re: Units walk on mountains with forest on it.
Yes forest obstacle when placed on any tile makes that tile passable as forest and overrides options which were on tile below it.
You can place it on water to make water passable for example.

Does ANSWERED mean there's no solution for this?
I already knew what caused it, I just wanted to see if it would be fixed.
I for one believe forests should only overide plains tiles such as grass, snow, and sand.

Actually i like how it works.
Or if this will be fixed than random rocks lying around won't block movement of units or, vise versa, wagons and siege will be able to pass through such tiles of forests if they are on passable for them base tiles (roads, grass, snow, desert, bridges, dirt...).

I like to decorate mountains with trees. Because otherwise they look too blank.
Alas i agree that trees which are passable should not be placeable onto water.

Tbh, I like it...
There isn't that much mountain walking units anyway...
Aside from ranger, but that's it.
Wouldn't mind a tech or something to allow mountain-walking 1 and Forest walking 1 for units who cannot.
