Reduce Armor ability
Reduce Armor ability
This ability is a big thing in alot of games.
Where It cuts a enemy unit(s) defence by Half so In the case an ability that can cut a unit Armor by half for 2 turns ( same with atk which ill make sperate topic )
I think this can work just as good as people wanting a ignore armor ability

Re: Reduce Armor ability
Should it ignore spell resist or not?

Re: Reduce Armor ability
Debatable
In games it works as an on hit affect that doesn't get affect by spell Resistance while others it castable on unit that can ve affected by SR

Re: Reduce Armor ability
Definately no for on-hit effect unless it will finally have only chance to apply.
Same is for reduce attack.
Same is for reduce attack.

Re: Reduce Armor ability
No. It must have 10-15% chance to apply for passive on-hit or only active ability like slowing 3.

Re: Reduce Armor ability
There is already
• disarmor
• fear
• screaming
Those 3 alone are used by every race except for orcs and elves

Re: Reduce Armor ability
1. Fear and screaming are actually apply same fear debuff so 2.StormSaint373 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 21, 2019 5:48 pm There is already

2. Dwarves have none of this. But orcs have disarmor.
3. Fear is too powerful because it affect not just armor but all stats of unit: attack, armor, sight, speed — and is stackable with itself.
What i want to see:
1. Disarmor spell with lesser armor reduce but as activable passive on-hit effect. Ofc non-stackable with itself.
2. "Targeted" ability that for 1 turn (current) reduces enemy p.armor by -20. Has long cooldown (3-5 turns) and high base spell range, also ignores enemy spell resist. For sharpshooter unit of dwarves.

Better off with current. Just make stackable.

Re: Reduce Armor ability
Current disarmor if make stackable will become op as hell. -10/-10 armor per each? Hell no.

Re: Reduce Armor ability
But it lasts 1, current turn, has long cooldown and affects only p.armor. Doesn't affect normal armor.

Re: Reduce Armor ability
Personally I think this can the closet thing to ignoring armor
You may not be able to straight bypass armor but atleast it can be cut in half
