Simple easy unit that can work

Aren't vampires and succubus belong with eachother though?


Vampires:
-main goal is to feed on the blood of humans. blood is what provides them with sustenance.
the method of obtaining their sustenance however, varies greatly from vampire to vampire. eg: feeding on humans as they slept, kidnapping children, assaulting them in dark alleyways and SOMETIMES through seduction. So even though they may use sex as a means of obtaining the blood, it is only a means, not the goal.

- vampires are corporeal creatures. meaning they are made of solid matter that can be seen, felt, held etc and exist purely in our world.

-vampires were once human (this is for MOST texts). While some texts cite vampires as different species entirely to humans, most seem to be consistent with the lore that vampires were once humans that had been either transformed, killed and re-animated or poisoned by another vampire to become what they are.

Succubus:
-they are innately incorporeal creatures. the succubus is considered a type of demon in most lore . meaning they originate and mostly exist in another world/dimension. they must either visit the human world or lure the human in to their world to interact with them. some claim that the succubus visits our world and takes a physical form in the seduction process but others say that they visit you in your dreams or in a vision or simply lure you into a portal to their world where they are strongest.

- a succubus doesnt always exist in this world and therefore do not always necessary need to be visible to humans. like with any demon or spirit entity, it can choose when and who to be visible to.

-the intention of a succubus: the endgame of a sucubus is the successful seduction of its human victim. Their sustenance varies between texts claiming that they feed on things such as life-force, energy, desire and will of their victim through intercourse. the intercourse may or may not result in the death of the victim depending on the lore. The point here being that while a vampire is trying to drink blood by any means necessary, the goal of a succubus is something else, but it is achieved through sex or simply the seduction of the human.

The thing is that vampires are usually considered as undeads while succubus are demons.

And also because my suggestion of demon race contains succubuses.

Also if rename this unit to vampire that has 2 forms (as current one) but is weaker with that ability than why not? I just need that name.

Should this be with undeads now? Since Alex confirmed demons to be a subrace and not every demon unit idea will get in.
I suggest adding this to the undead mansion and can only be produce in mansion like the vampire

For demonic types of creatures I believe Dark Altar is better place

I think I'd go with 5 cost. Convert is a fairly useful spell and I know I'm more than willing to toss a lich in an express wagon to the front to try and convert some enemies, like green dragons and especially any kind of healers. This is particularly exaggerated when you consider mummies can immobilize such targets as you advance, giving you the opportunity to convert units behind the front lines.

Raised convert range to 3 (to make it more functional)

Might actually bring conversion into battle and fill some place in dark altar

And since demons are a confirmed subrace now i think we just need an image.
