Mapeditor - Adding a rearrange button for triggers

Post by DreJaDe »

Maybe not even just on the unity version

I suggest to be able to rearrange the triggers by having a button to make a trigger go up.

The process would be like.
Click on the trigger -> click on the "move to upper"

Or smt like that

This is so much helpful when making dialogues since they have a specific order.

Also good if you want an arrangement of objectives and just keeping proper order of things

I support this idea. But can't we just drag the boxes up and down, isn't that more intuitive ? For both conditions and triggers.

Uhmmm if you read my suggestion... As I've said.

Dialogues are arranged the opposite way in game. So you have to put the last appearing dialogue at the top of the list of dialogue triggers while the first one to appear at the bottom

When doing it in map editor that's just so confusing and quite annoying as of course. You don't normally write the ending part first.

Also, what if we want to reorder the dialogues? Need to copy and paste again instead of simple click or drag.

Might also be useful in the order of trigger activation as I think the triggers at the top triggers first as can be seen in the dialogues.
