What i have proposed:
Blow up goblin ability for goblin spiker:
All stay the same except:
Effect on target - 24 hp all, except hamletback, hamletback elite&master
Effect on itself - 1000 hp all

Actually...
Why not change ability itself next way:
1. Add positive 200% bonus to hamletbacks
2. Add additional effect on self — -1000 hp
Along with upcoming removal of % based heal from orc shamans (they will use regular heal via heal rates) and moving it to ogre mage for savages sub (8 turn cost pure caster) that will be enough.

1. Corpse looting removal from goblin spikers (all tiers)
2. Give for grenade ability 200% bonus to hamletbacks and give extra -1000 hp effect to caster only.

meanwhile experimentally we set a probability for goblin falling that seems working, would that also be a solution? eg. a 25% chance to drop goblin?

Even 80% will make it nerfed a lot.
Later if ettin change i want is accepted i will remake hamletback in some similar way as well (mainly in cost increase).
But goblin fall for it i want to have 100%.

i made this:
the EFFECT_INSTANT_GOBLIN_GRENADE (most goblins have this effect)
will cost a EFFECT_KILL_UNIT for the caster (the goblin using it)
i hope this is what you ment.
so important: not only goblin spiker but ALL such effect users will change this way.
