I think it would be easier for 1 in 2 turns, as if you look at a unit stats it has a action/turn ratio. Simply setting that to 1/2 would allow for 1 attack every two turns.

ok i have the troll in with default stats and no specailities aat the moment.
(the engine can not have unit that attacks only on every 2nd turn, it will need engine modification then)
up oin server in 5 minutes.

what about this idea: instead of attacking every other turn, the troll simply can not counterattack? (he is slow)

not bad! but the arm raising is unnatural.
you can try fix that way, OR! he can rest his mace on his shoulders as he stand/walk! what do u think?

I would give them some spell resistance. In 1 of the games, all my super orc units were defeated with spells (either freezing or converting them)

edited the underwear. It wasn't correctly showing team colors.
Btw i also would add spell resistance, it's really annoying make such a costly unit, that you can only build in a mega building (costly itself) to have it made converted or killed easily...

i dont remember if i placed the image - did i?ű
convert: i am not sure, orcs are dumb also trolls even dumber the player should protect it other ways i think.

Spell resistance is not aleways dependant on intelligence. Sometimes monsters have spell resistance related to their affinity with magic (a monster might be not able to cast magic but also might be immune to it) or just from other means (might be their head is big and made with a thick skull that make its little brain out of target for magic effects).
We might say that the troll skin makes him immune to magic or something like that.
Btw i might need to re-do the image, i'll post it asap.
