Movement path and for confirm movement.
I have a few versions here, please tell me which u like best
0. (the original version) only balls
1/a. path line + "balls" + Arrow on the end (over unit sprites)
1/b. path line + "balls" + Arrow on the end (but under all unit sprites)
1/c: same as "a" but the starting line does not cover onto the moving unit as the line starts on the edge of the tile
2. only balls and Arrow in the end
3. All objects are arrows (in place of earlier balls).

I'd like to see 1/b Path line under Unit Sprites. That looks interesting.
But i prefer 2. Only Dots and Arrows. No Path line.

i placed 2 images with that but the problem that the arrow itsef can be hidden under buildings too...

Definitely b. Can buildings get a z lower than the path line. Would it make unit strangely overlapping parts of structures?

naturally the color and appearance of balls/arrow and lines can be changed - here the best "concept" is the question.

+ info: also tranparency is can be changed (so not to cover too much under the line / balls / arrows.

back when i searched the color tried to avoid all colors that terrains use i thought green / blue / white but all is a terrain base color (grass/water/snow) - but if we make a strict contour than white can be good too.
So u would like white one?
remark: good news all wil lbe able to modify by modders too - so different in any alternative.

What about adding all, so the players can choose style and color they prefer via settings . And i like it not overlapping the units.

For me option 2 and 3 (in that order) are best still.
White alas will not be visible well pn snow maps thus i prefer different color.

Option 2 should be the same color as Option 3 and others. Option 2 only has the different color - White.

Option 2 has circles for movement indicators exept last one which is arrow.
Option 3 has arrows only.
Anyway white color for movement indicators will be close to invisible on snow maps. Which is no good.

i have idea: what if the little semi transparent white boxes also turn to some color along the path?
eg. instead of white they become similar solor than the balls/arrows on it (eg. that pink thing)

yes those semitransparent white squares - i can recolor them (or put over them a semi tranparent colored one)

Maybe remake those semitransparent white squares of possible movement into player colored ones?
This also will help players to notice who is unit easier - your own or enemy.
Maybe not a recolor by the way but just some player color based borderline?
