A hasty half track conversion of Opel or Daimler Benz military trucks
This was done to have an advantage on the terrain of mud or snow
Most of the trucks were Opel
A rearm service was planned to use the trucks as rocket projecting vehicles using Neberwerfer detachments, these versions had armor plating around the cab.
3000 trucks of both were contracted
Some trucks personnel carriers and some Neberwerfer launchers.
