AOS Easter Egg units

If you have any new upgrade idea, than put it here.
It can be one of these: unit, structure, technology, effect.
Best if you can give: unit/structure icon, and unit/structure properties
And a description how you imagined the new upgrade.

AOS Easter Egg units

I thought of some Easter eggs in the game, and one of my ideas is the Easter Egg units

an easster egg unit is not available by default and not buyable in upgrades, but it is
- in one of the campaign maps hidden somewhere
- it can be get if you eg. mend a specific civilian, or if you convert one
- the clues for it is hidden somewhere (in help, or in other campaign description texting)
- hard to find
- if you have it you can build it as it were an upgrade bought by gems
- practically it can be on the bottom of an upgrade column, but the cost is not gem, but it say "Easter egg, find it".
- when player gets it, it gets "unlocked" in the upgrade columns.
- optionally it can be common/rare/unique:
-- common=many player can find it,
-- rare: maximum eg. 20 player can find it,
-- unique: only one player can get it (no one else)

players not having this upgrade but seeing it in a battle will get insane to get it :)

I agreed with anything except that common/rare/unique part. That would make other players jealous and make battles unfair. But I like everything else!
I am, indeed, a big Witch King and Middle Earth fan if you didn't notice.

i know my campaign will have lots :) but do we have to make them first?
There is no place for false kings here, only those who proves themselves to b the true kings of legend, or serves under me

yes, that is why i wrote "optional", i see that could make "negative" feelings. (lol - i just saw the Ready Player One movie and there were a totally unique easter egg, that was the idea)

actually "lots" should not be, an easter egg should be a rare thing, lets say approx. 10 maximum in the whole game - imho

actually its other way round, they r kept on walls to prevent infantry from climbing up. it could b a tech to upgrade individual walls, like how cathedral is upgraded. walls use aoe spell that has different burning effect on both infantry and siege units like battering ram

i was thinking about units that are not THAT special.
so "oil cauldron" could be a normal unit if it is needed to the game.

i ment as easter egg as the forumer units (not actually those but similar) like a DEV unit maybe, or other humorous unit (naturally that fits the theme) - eg. a dev unit could be a well armored warrior, but nothing VERY special in abilities so it will not have 100 poswer and 100 armors, this is not a "fun unit" a real unit but it is very hard to get, and makes on "flavour" to the game - so not a winner unit.

rethinked: these could even be the forumer units if they are fit to the game (the game theme and their "power" is not op)

They should not be vital to the game but optional. Still would be huge bragging rights to the players who found it.

these also can be very famous waariors of real world: like Lancelot of the round table or even the "Jeanne D'Arc" hoever we have her already as mapeditor unit.

For aof i want to add unique unit (trainable only one per player) into my campain that is also is added for this campain.

One option I've suggested to Alexander is that certain units will not show in help or upgrades screen, but will only appear in production options when you are in fun mode and have met the full criteria for them. For example, if a player has researched area damage, flight, and gunpowder they would be able to look in a siege workshop and see a new "bomber ornithopter" unit that dropped bombs. This unit wouldn't show up until you can actually build it, and gives no message saying that you can.

Intended for our plans in AOF, where players will probably not be able to expand down more than one subrace line too far. Alexander planned a few for scalefolk at the end of one subrace line. (don't want to give too much of a hint, but specialize in turtles) I'd suggest adding a few cross subrace options as well, such as making blade singer require a level in rising sun elves and a level of new moon elves and hidden as an easter egg.

I am planning to put some more forumers as easter egg units.
My initial candidates are:
@Stratego (dev) , Endru1241, @StormSaint373, @QuadrupoleStrat , @patroid , @godOfKings , @@makazuwr32 , @@Lynx Shafir, @Puss_in_Boots , @Gral.Sturnn
I changed avatars (and practically created some) to fit the game more.
Anyone has anything against it?
Anyone has ideas about specialities of their representations?
Anyone thinks there is someone skipped, that deserves to be added (in the same batch - there may be some later ones)?
Anyone wants to propose some candidature for next batch (to be added maybe next year)?

I am mainly focused on forum members, that are (or were) active in development process of Age of Strategy.
I am sorry in advance if I skipped someone and that person feels offended.

I am already answering one possible question - yes QuadrupoleStrat is quite fresh comparing to others, but he already made huge number of images, posted many good ideas - which quite some part is implemented or on todo list.

aweesome idea,
easter egg unit requirements:
- not op unit
- images and their capabilities fitting to theme
- possibly LEGENDARY or UNIQUE type units.
- accessible only by solving some kind of riddle (so not purchaseable)
not sure what else.

I want all of them to be Legendary. And all given as easter eggs placed in similar way to CoolGuy (some trigger on the map, which is very hard to be done incidentally). Clue on shopitem should direct to correct map and inside this map some hint should direct to trigger placement.
For your representation (and I want it to be strongest among them) I have an idea:
cost 2 turns
hp: 25
armors 6/14
power 2
actions 3
hardcore fan aura 2 range, without himself: gives +100% mental resistance, +6 to melee armor, +3 to power to all unit types
temporary nerf - +-2 power, -1/-1 armor, cumulative for 1 turn, has 3 range
temporary buff - +2 power, +1/1 armor, cumulative for 1 turn, has 3 range
proceed removal - -5hp, has range 3 (with bonuses against any units with bigger hp)
