Re: Argent Svardestave
I honestly don't see the need for extra units that are just another version of exiating infantry with an added healing spell.

It's like a volguier
But for AoF
No one has decided to suggest them yet...
Thought it would augment the humans nicely.

Re: Argent Svardestave
I mean that is basically just another anti cavalry infantry with the addition of healing.
I'm not saying that I'm completely against it but we already have basic, imperial (basic) and warfell (that will differ because they will use crystals, healing too).
So I think it would just be a unit added for the sake having one more unit in game.
As it is is just another unit that we might use for maps, otherwise you should make it more peculiar.
What make you choose this one over another aside from look and the heal 10 hp spell?

Well, 2 attacks AND a bonus vs infantry to start...
I haven't done much in way of techs, but if I add more spells it'll increase cost.

What else does it need to be more unique?
Wise, Might, Loyalty. Forever stands Warfell.

Re: Argent Svardestave
Why don't you lower attack more but increse noticeably the undead bonus?
Silver weapons are not much effective against steel armors

Re: Argent Svardestave
There wasn't a undead bonus B4.
Attack was 10
And 2 actions...
The Swordstaff, in history is an armor penetrating weapon.
The sword replacement still is effective. Tis just different weight distribution.
Of course, this is fantasy.
I still have smithing methods in mind should malleability and durability be an issue.
I still lean towards Svardstavier flavor of unit, though...
How low do you wish for it to be?
I can shift bonuses to reflect Svardstavier's in AoS
180% vs cavalry, 50% vs infantry

Re: Argent Svardestave
I answered in the general post. Tell me if you like the idea of a double set of weapons.
Maybe an extra sword/mace for everyone (so they have basically the normal stats for their main weapon and edited stat/bonus for the sub anti-undeads weapon)
