Paratrooper IMPLEMENTED

Post by balint »

Paratroopers are equipped with rocjet launchers. They are very effective against the medium and heavy tanks.
This is Hungary and winter is coming.

Hi
You can make the paratrooper higher then
32px but not bigger.
So you should complete him.

Actually I don't think paratroopers should be shown with a parachute. Paratroopers did not fight while dropping from the sky; they were used to drop behind enemy lines or hard to reach areas. And a lot in special ops.

Maybe paratroops should have the ability to 'drop out' of a transport plane. To explain further, normal units can be transported by transport planes, but only from airbase to airbase (where the plane lands), but paratroops can exit the transport at any time. Then we could use the icon with the open parachute.
Thanks!

I don't think thats a good idea, because how do you want to say the players that this is a paratrooper? I mean without a parachute nobody can indentify this as a paratrooper.

what about a paratrooper carrier?
It might be able to ,,summon'' paratroopers.

The thing is the units will look different from regular infantry like with a larger pack or something to identify. Because paratroops were equipped differently than normal ground troops. I don't think the summoning idea is very good in this instance, because where do the paratroops come from? Are they free then with a plane? Do they 'disappear' after a while? Or can you just use such a plane as a 'factory' of sorts to produce paratroops?
Thanks!

(Fallschirmjäger) = Germans

Soviet Union didn't have a large scale amt of paratroopers on record.

But, I'll see what can be done.

oh i am confused now about the iamges - i have to make 2 images but the helmets and guns are definitely wrong - but i made the proper coloring of uniforms.

please fix these images if u can - or please change to new images if u have better - but dont forget the proper uniform colors.

here are the current "wrong ones"

@Stratego (dev) maybe this'll help...

Since no record for Russian Paratroopers, I've decided to go with SVT-10 (late war Soviet rifle) for armament.
For Germans, they have a Gweheir

I'll do British next.

Shouldn't the stats of the paratroopers reflect the same as Faction?

US=
Hp: 35
Att: 8

Germany=
Hp: 32
Att: 10

Russia=
Hp: 42
Att: 8

. . . And so on?
