Castle Siege
So, this is a pretty complicated idea. I will explain as simply as possible:
Each player can make their own "Castle" map on a 7x7 square map of just grass. I will explain how later.
When they are finished, and press the "Play Castle Siege" button, the 7x7 square is put in a larger, 31x31 map. The attacking player will then use his armies (which are on the bigger map) to attack the defending player (or AI maybe?). If they destroy everything (except walls) within a time limit, say 20 turns, they win the game. Else, they lose the game.
The castle is made with a "master builder" unit - 0 speed, but instant building speed and building range of 10 tiles. Cannot be suicided. Cannot build ballistae, ships etc or 2x3 castles. The master builder is in the center of the castle. There could be a max-point cap limit, to stop players from filling it with fortresses.

You could play it with 2 players or the defender could be the Ai.

Can you be the defender vs. 2+ AI units (allied AI or non-allied AI...non-allied AI could add a whole new aspect!! )?

Cool!! As many new suggestions as there are, it shouldn't be too hard to fill a ballot...the only problem would be having the chosen units ready to be implemented...icons, stats, that kind of thing....
