I have edited the the axe a bit
corrected some black spots that I have not seen before (this was my fault)
and I think I may create some shadows around his feet

he is more of a defensive unit but I can accept 6 armor piercing (dwarfen weapons)
8 armor is fine
what about his abilities ?

I think he doesnt need any abilities at all. He looks way too sturdy even without them

Firt post: updated

I looked the mithril guard in-game ans saw his shield had purple on it. I will fix this later this day..

Also i will try edit the unit a bit more to make it look less similar to a dwarf warrior

Why the mithril guard damages all nearby units near the target he attacked ?

If i made a mistake at the stats please tell me what to correct.

One mistake you have:
Not the

But Power range 1 he has right now.
This adds splash damage to him.

And also not the "mountain stronghold" as one of their builders but "dwarven barracks" i suggested.
He don't need any special abilities.
But those abilities ideas are good, we can use for another alchemist-like dwarven unit for tavern.
