Spanish pikeman with a long pike. This unit gets first strike ability due to it's very long pike. Cost=3 turns, built in castle, speed=3. Bonus against cavalry. Power=8.
First strike ability= when attacked by enemy units, the enemy units get counterattacked first before they damage the Tercios.

New proposal: A unit that can switch weapons between Arquebus and pike. Built in castle. High pierce armor in both stance and high normal armor in pike stance. Cost=4 turns.

Hi,
i made an image bu MORE IMPORTANT. i filmed how ivdid the image, so i showed a way to make them.

( well i usally do things on my phone in this video i used paint.net though wich is a pretty cool programm too
so its not my real process of creating images but its pretty similar)

i gonna od a nother topic/post a ssoon as im done editing and uploading(since its the first time ever i do something with videos adn my internet is very slow)

for 3 turn unit switch stance, 25 hp and such extemly big armor is waaaay to much.
Either raise cost to 4-5 turns or lower stats. I think 16 hp (yes, lower than Voulgier), less armor (1/1 or 2/1 in both forms) and lower damage in arquebus form (12 at least, same as 2 turn unit) would be good enough.

Any idea for new stats? So Tercio will be a pike only unit with high bonus against cavalries and medium both armour.

Tercio is more well armoured and expensive while landsknetch is cheaper and less armoured.

Well it sounds good but remember that landshneckt were elite mercenaries and well armored too

Based from wikipedia.After 1560s the landsknetch reputation start to decrease in the Western Europe. The Spanish Tercios beaten them.

Well a century later the tercios disappeared too but landeshneckt werr no joke either, in 3 days I will make a sprite for the tercio pikeman

Give it +1 range for long Pike, much more strategic use.

Remember pikemen were really weak against proyectiles, they should have 1 pierce armor.

Is not very confortable to have a verry long pike and a shoot a musket. I would not do that.
