Single player - quests inciting players to try multiplayer

Post by duneix »

Hi,

Here is a suggestion. Everyone on AoS first starts with Single Player, in order to discover the game and to earn gems.

I remembered having fun, but that's nothing compared to multiplayer, which is much more strategic. And I regret not to have tried the multiplayer mode earlier.

Why not adding in the single player mode some quests, some of them inciting players to try the multiplayer mode?

For example:
. Join your first multiplayer game
. Organize your own multiplayer game
. First 3 / 5 / 10 victories
. Reach an activity rating (medals)
...

As a reward, gems could be given at the beginning. Why not also giving medals for some questions (like the achievements table in Hattrick, if someone knows: https://wiki.hattrick.org/wiki/Achievements)

The more players we have, the funnier it is for everyone!

I feel like this might be too much work, if people don't want to play multiplayer, they probably won't imo. :?

And the multiplayer community is large anyways, if you look at the chat
The day is coming when a single carrot, freshly observed, will set off a revolution.
