The only thing that might shange is the image and some of the stats as Alexander also mentioned about being more powerful.

Yes, in AoS it was mainly for exploring. This one should at least be decent a fighting

Those are AoS light cavalry stats:
1) Add some pierce armor and attack and make it more resilient and good against archers
2) Give him a double attack (this is more "light" themed) and raise a bit hp (like 20 or 25) to better withstand a double counter
The first one is probably better at the start of the game since a few arrows might end this unit easily
The second one is probably better in the long run (every damage upgrade will basically apply twice and the additional armor from techs will make it survive more easily)
If you have other suggestions they're welcome

Attack 5
Range 1
Armor 0
Pierce 1
Speed 6
Sight 8
Action 1
Resistance 0

Also I was thinking of adding some decorations to its armor to make it look distinct.

Seems good enough. Even a fully upgraded light cavalry doesn't compare to heavy cavalry, except in speed for capturing tcs. I doubt the upgrades would ever be used much.
