devourer dragon sprite — IMPLEMENTED

For those who dont remember devourer dragon:
Devourer dragon (cost:6 / ground) (it devours its enemies, so it has lifelink. Maybe one of the strongest dragons.)
Hp 50
Atk 14 (lifelink)
Arm/p.arm 3/3
Speed 4 (land)
Sight 6
Description: this dragon starts to feast upon an enemy as soon as he spots it. Very big and very dangerous.

The old sprite is back on the "scaledfolk" race topic. I cant post it here cuz i accidentaly erased the sprite... :mrgreen: (I made this one) Just to know, does anyone think the sprite is bad? And the stats?

Im new at doing sprites, so i cant make good sprites yet. But u guys can take that one up there and make something better out of it. Dunno, maybe reshade, change the sprite form a little bit, maybe change color...

The sprite needs to be made from the start

About the dragon i assume it is a melee unit that has a fixe lifelink buff right?

Being one of the strongest dragon it should cost not less than 8 turns (ike a vampire)

i meant the cost... not the stats...

A vampire is a permanent lifelink unit and it has similar stats

Imo 7 is better, i think 8 would be a bit too much.

If youd like, i can raise both stats and cost to make it a 8 or 9 costing unit, but imo the stats are good already

Vampire is probably the only undead unit that has a specific feature. I think that we shouldn't make easily a unit with a similar feature that has lower cost...

The vampire is faster and can turn into a bat that is MUCH faster and can even fly, and that is not a small advantage. Imo the vampire should even cost more than 8. So making a similar unit with WAY less speed and that can only walk on ground with a cost of 7 is fine. Imo, its even too much

vampire speed is 3 and bat speed is 4 flying

and it loses a turn to transform. It i not a great advantage.

It can fly anyway. Speed of dragon is 4 on land only. The vampire can go both through moutains and water with no effort at all. If u send a group of 2/3 vampires through a mountain pass that a ground unit would take MANY turns to transverse, it will reach the enemy VERY quickly before they can do anything. And this is just one out of many advantages. If the lizardmen must be like kobold but with 1 cost more because of swimming, whats the sense of putting the devourer dragon at the same cost of vampire, that can fly?? If a swimming advantage is worth 1 turn, flight should be worth 2/3, no?...

In fact lizardmen wil be stronger than kobolds. Vampires might just be better than a devourer dragon since they should be a unit very specific for undeads.

To be honest i don't really like the idea of the devourer dragon as it is (it might be ok to heal after a kill since devoured the corpse, but i don't like the idea of lifelink like a vampire that receive power from the blood he is drinking) and i think that in lifelink units undeads should be the strongest of all races.
Skalefolks shoud have their specific ways too and the devourer dragon is stepping to much on undeads territory.

Th concepts are:

kobolds similar to humans

Lizards between humans and orcs and waterwalking (+1 cost)

Snakemen elite units that have a great amount of poisoning units

Dragons that are the strong units

The devourer drago is some sort of vampire dragon a it is now. I think that we might decide to do 2 things:

1) A less versatile vapire (with the same cost)

2) make him stronger but avoid using lifelink but make him heal only on final blow (dead enemy shouldn't drop a corpse, obviously)

Hmm. The way u put it it makes "sans". :)

Then we should raise its attack (maybe to 20-25) and make it heal hp equal to enemys max hp (for exemple, if it killed a human swordsman, it would heal 18 hp.) when kill an enemy. Obviously no corpse should appear. How about that?

Imo: attack should be 24.

Btw: did anyone create a new sprite for devourer dragon yet????? Pls dont ask me to do it, i have little free time rn due to school.
