Re: Roman Auxiliaries
OK, whipped this up pretty quickly.
As icons go, it might need some work but it's a good start.

It looks kinda like a cloud/tornado
The day is coming when a single carrot, freshly observed, will set off a revolution.

The helmet looks much better now First_Speaker
Also, I think that the revision by patroid are pretty good! The one with the less purple on it might be better with a leather/wood shield though. The second picture's shield looks far too.... Heavy for most auxilary soldiers of that time. Also, I spy a stray pixel on the bottom right area

Hi,
First of all, the first image i posted was the original by first-speaker.
If i could i ever would do a gif to see difference.
However. Pls only comment on my RESHADE (it was not a rework).
And not again on the original.
If i should REWORK (so change shield and stuff pls tell me)
The next Three posts contain ORIGINAL picture*firstspeakers.
And my own RESHADE. I only chabged the sword of the Swordsman caus of
Historical correctness amd fixed some pixel errors.

Re: Roman Auxiliaries
Thanks Patroid! They look much better now.
My only advice is what DOOM said; the skirmisher guy with the spear, his shield looks super heavy now. Maybe you could make it more leather or wood looking with just a metal rim around the outside?
Fantastic work though. Thanks for fixing those up.

It is good, these units are more or less ready now I think! Great work everyone!

Re: Roman Auxiliaries - ACCTEPTED
Hey I have one quick Q about this topic.... Where are we gonna build it. I never saw a clear cut post on where this unit(s) will be built, altho I did see a post about putting it in the dock, but I personay think it would be best if we make them only build able in the roman garrison... But that's just my opinion

Yes, these would be built in roman garrison, but currently it is not yet in game.

Re: Roman Auxiliaries - ACCTEPTED
Now that Roman Garrison is in game, I would like to give these some final stats:
Skirmisher/Swordsman/Cavalry/Archer
COST: 3 turns
HP:...........12/24/24/22
Attack:.....6/11/8/6
Range:.....4/1/1/5
Armor:......1/1/2/1
P. Armor:..6/2/1/2
Speed:......3/3/6/3
Sight:........4/3/6/7
Skirmisher gets all skirmisher bonuses, swordsman gets swordsman bonuses, cavalry gets lancer bonuses, archer gets archer bonuses.
A few of the units are slightly powerful (swordsman is almost par with man-at-arms/legionairre, light cavalry is almost a trade for a hungarian hussar, etc.)
However, I think they need to be solid units, to counter the large drawback of not knowing what unit your getting, and not being able to getblacksmith upgrades. (the latter penalty is slightly mitigated by centurions obviously, but not entirely).

Also, the archer image was bugging me as his helmet looked like grey hair after looking at it again: here is final archer image.
