What do you think about the idea of having special Swords, armors and so on in the game (like Excalibur, or Achilleus armor and so on)

- they could be unique, rare, common types (can be one or more of them all over the world)
- they could have nice images
- all items have their own modification property
- if you have such items you can choose only ONE unit to have the best items you have on him (like a "hero")
- these items modifies the properties of the unit for that game
- if unit dies than
a) you can not attach to other unit anything OR maybe you can select a new unit to be the "hero" (?)
b) the items are not lost, in any other game you can use them again.
- Marketplace: there could be a marketplace of these items, where (using gem-s) all players can buy/sell these units.
- gaining items:
a) you can buy/sell them in marketplace
b) maybe you can earn them by winning a multiplayer game (?)
- there would be a repository section where these items the player owns placed after gaining them.


what do you think of this idea?
would this kill the current gameplay or not? (i think if we restrict it to only one unit in a game then maybe not kilss the game...)

I quite like the hero idea, it could be you as the commander in game. You would only be allowed 1 in each game and you can have a basic set of weapons for free to select from and buy better weapons and armour in the upgrades - these should be cheap as they only effect 1 unit, it would also be nice if hero upgrades were in separate columns to standard upgrades so you can focus on standard gameplay if needed.
This would also open up another game type where each of you start with a hero and you have to take out the other players hero to win.

You would surely need an option in the multi-player game creation menu to have heroes active or de-active if you were to implement this feature. Not everyone would want to play with a hero due to being probably very powerful with items.

This will surely lead to more campaign options for leveling up a hero and what not like that. But we do not want hero play to dominate the original idea.

I think a RPG aspect to this game would be great!

how complex can you do it?

need an option to turn heroes on and off for all games.

buy hero (limit 1?, only play one at a time?) like any other upgrade. buy hero upgrades for armor,bow, inf, cav abilities, not weapons or armor.

find artifacts(weapons,armor,one use items,spells) for hero use only (buy,sell,trade in your market)

gains experience when he/she survives a scenario.

addable to all campaigns and individual scenarios. addable to multiplayer by mutual agreement.

most important!! game play balance.

AI need heroes! select by random chance or always get one, ai gets a hero when human adds a hero?

AI hero has random skills and abilities and random range above and below the human hero.

hero dies:

buy a new one and start over.

dies in multiplayer and lose scenario, human winner acquires weapons and armor (all?part?).

dies in any game and wins scenario, just lose hero and abilities, not weapons and armor.

just my thoughts.

I like the rpg idea.


hero: Here's my ideas:
-You could design your own
-changeable equipment (you can change to better, or worse ones)
-KO. Hero Don't die, just get knocked down/out and can be revived for 1-2 gem(s)
-separated place ( menu section for hero items to buy)
-Some map's completing give you hero equipment
-Legendary items (Can be a bit fantasy for example: Flamebringer, Sword of God(dess))
-Can be summoned to battle, (like lich can summon)-> you can cshose a place for it inside your line of sight and summon it (like if you use a consumable)

Peasant clothes (common) +1 armor
Pitchfork (common) +1 attack
peasant boots (common) +1 armor

The hereos shouldnt have their own names.
They should have the name of the player.
That mean that u can select between differen hero
Classes.

He he this topic is interesting the items could be this Legendary rare uncommon and common violet symbol for legendary item red for rare items blue for uncommon and green for common

And maybe it have a difficult unit to get that only get when we have a monthly mission like play game and finish it have at least 100 star to get an item or treasure chest or chest

Why this happen I had a lots of idea for this in my mind haha :D we must add now the best game ever version he he we need to add the avatar symbol and levels he he + every level their have reward + new shop button too and Google play store item like behamut legendary hero item price maybe cashed or 10.000 gems haha

And maybe add the hero altar that only 5 heroes limit only and the tavern for the mercenaries and other hero I think this r legendary hero 12 rare 25 uncommon and 40 common + units 12 legendary + 40 rare + 200 uncommon + 500 common in items you may suggest anything this is only suggestion and can be trash my own suggestion but this is better a improvement

And then we have the shop so I think we need a buying and selling it we must have 2 types of paying the gems and gold when you want every game the avatar receive xp and gold + gems reward and maybe add other items like double gold or xp or booster or a graded unit but we must add selling gems :)

My ideas.
Equipment found as loot in levels, better loot in harder levels. Also, when you destroy another hero you get a random piece of his equipmen, or two of his worst.
Smaller chance of getting more powerful loot, so costs more in the market place.

Yeah that's great and that loot have armor pants gauntlets boots helms and weapons + maybe a skill? My idea is get it for daily or monthly reward + in event that loots or chest have definition loot bags then chest silver chest golden chest and package hehe :D what you think we must ready this for version 2.0

I don't want this to become one of those rpg games, it is pure strategy nothing fancy, according to the description.
You could add chests that cost gems, but no daily reward.
Items would be shortened to just
Shield. Armor and pierce armor
Weapon. Attack, attacks per turn, bonuses and range
Utility. Gives special abilities e.g. Heal, repair
Horse or boots. Speed.
Armor. Health
Special. Gives an added bonus, but special items are rare. Examples are... Regeneration, walk on water, loot multiplier, sight, etc.

Wow that's not my point I only say that loots or chest gives your own hero a item and not to be RPG because the hero you have is the leader of your army so they need strong and in daily reward it can be give some gem or gold or boost for the cost like loot however this will be implemented the loots maybe contain hero unit item or gems did you get what I talking about

I don't think that we should make hero's to RPG like. This is a historical TBS after all. Hero's should just be a powerful customisable unit, nothing more ;)
