Still feels.... off. And I think I just got enlightened as to why!
If you look at it, it almost looks like the 4 roofs are slanting down towards the center. It makes the building look thinner at the center than at the corners, which makes it look very flat and weird.
I think we need to raise the roofs towards the middle somehow, or put an object there to make it look less flat

I changed rhe roof a bit and remived some strange dark pixel

I yust made small changes...if i should really rework...

(also i used patroiids idea on the chimney)

Okay so the chimney looks super wierd.why dont we stick to the original castle, just make it 3d?

Here is my idea for using the AoF town centres, with some of the changes suggested.
These include:
-Making the top roof section taller.
-Placing a flag on top of the structure.
The town center design is 32x40, so the flag may slightly cover the above square.
What do you think?

nice! but i think it should not look like AOF (there are already too many similar units/structures)

not as a replacement (i like the current - dont you?)
- however i like the modfications, so if we will do a town center upgrade ("level up" type upgrade) than it could be the base for an upgrade of the existing TC image, also i suggest posting it into such suggestion thread.

You mean an upgrade of the AoS town centre, or the AoF one?
