Fire archer vs cannoneer - ANSWERED

Post by Alex486 »

I attacked a connoneer and the connoneer did not get the extra fire damage that other man made units get like trebuchet, castles, towers, ect.

The connoneer should get that damage as well at the very least.

In reality, we should make it were a connoneer dies when a fire archer attacks it because fire and gunpowder don't mix.
Anything is feasible with enough money and power.

Get ready to get your teeth kicked in, it will make for a good education.

The cannon has some wood but it's mainly metal. Your suggestion might be nice though. A cannon attacked by a fire archer might have a small percentage of exploding dealing area damage around it, but i also know that daniel might not want to add new mechanics to the game

it is intentional not to catch fire on cannoneer. use other units against it. eg. normal archers.
