Egypt campaign
We could make nice maps with enormous Pyramids on it! (eg. 4x4 big or so)
Re: Egypt campaign
Oooh...
Camel riders maybe?
Is this based in the time of most AoS strategy campaigns (middle-ages(ish)) or will it be ancient Egypt in which case you would have to restrict the units people can build.

Re: Egypt campaign
i am not sure - i just wanted the big-badda pyramids
Re: Egypt campaign
Three pyramids would be needed
3x3, 4x4, and 6x6.
Could be limited to chariot units, pike, swoard, mage (since they were into magic), and basic archers.

Anything is feasible with enough money and power.

Re: Egypt campaign
Yaah maybe. But i think we are being too harsh on aos . Combining mysique and paranormality with reality has interesting consequences( read map 2 of path of rome rocks!!)

Re: Egypt campaign
There is a difference though between suspense and Fantasy. If you like paranormal mystique so much, put it in the Fantasy version. That is why it is there.
I don't think that is being harsh on AoS. Map 2 of Paths of Rome is good. Fighting mummies in AoS is not.

Re: Egypt campaign
Ok then put it there. Other wise its no use if the function of pyramids and mountains are same just looks are different.

Re: Egypt campaign
Mummy as active units could be ok in a fan map related an horror movie (we might make special heroes for that purpose)

Re: Egypt campaign
Ive got to agree with Coolguy, mummies should probably stay in AOF. Otherwise, who knows where it could end? Will fan maps be swarmed with zombies or orcs in the future?

Me too. No combative mummies
