Here is the first ones. I was thinking of designing the smaller ones like no.2 and the larger ones similar to no.1. What do you guys think?

I will try to answer.

Between Light and Heavy: this is reference to their weapons - some "light" cruisers had a larger displacement than some "heavy" ones: Light>6 inch, Heavy>8 inch. This arbitrary assignment was proved absurd when, during the war, some "light" cruisers were rearmed with bigger guns.

Between the images: I will look at the specs of the different classes, and the larger ones will be based off of the first image; the smaller ones will be based off of the second image.

Why is number 1 balancing on its front?
I like 2 a lot better. You could just mirror it and make it lighter or something instead if 1

Well okay, if you really think so, I can just use 2. But just recall that it is taken at a 45 degree aspect, and is on water. So I think it will look better in-game.
But thank you, and please let me know your thoughts! :)

Closed topic.
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
