Thunder War Mage

Well since it isn't being used as a hero what about as a another War mage
Has all the same stats warmage has but has different abilities
Im thinking this warmage can have
Lighting weapon ( activation one )
Slowing (-3)
Lightning spell
Rikoargatha.gif
Rikoargatha v1.png
Just like normal warmage ot can be affected by tech upgrades

Lightning weapon
Thunderstorm
Disenchant (after seeing how useful it is, I rather like this spell the most :lol: )

Stats could be a little weaker then the warmage or we just make it a hero. Just a thought.

Why would this be weaker?

Also add the slowing spell (-3)
( I looked back and Warmage has five spells )

And hero is already out of the question

Pretty sure mage knights do different things
What of.
( it's technically still a Warmage but a different variant )

Light War mage

Also this creates Ideas to make

Ice War mage
Fire Warmage
Earth Warmage
Dark Warmage

The problem is, is that the warmage already has fire and lightning weapons. Warmages should be focused on melee mainly with a simple long ranged attack. Maybe knights are mages who fight in melee and use spells to assist them in combat. They are support melee mages.

In the end we end up with:

Mage: focuses on debilitating enemies and fighting enemies from a range, they can work as a support too.

Priest: support mainly

Mage knight: melee mages who specializes in close quarters spells that assist them in combat. Focus on self support spells. Can be effected by blacksmith upgrades in some cases.

Plus the 2 actions

If anything what you describe mage knights is the Warmage already.

And this variant of a Warmage has different spells
They can be useful in other situations normal warmage isn't

I don't like this idea,

As it's now This ist Not enough interesting to stand as separate unit, and more like is a hybrid as the current two.

(Recently u were complaining that's human warmage is too strong.)



(The Imige is too similar to the current one and I don't see is a real "Thunder magazin it.

As For mage upgrade(if have at least too more) I want a group upgrade for stats
Hp spell CD or range.

For other elwmwntal mages better wait for new effects.

Also for different tactics better get the Geomancer, Profeth, and Elementalist.
More interesting ideas and should be priority.
(Help is welcome with images)


If want to keep concept
. I suggest a change on Imige(I'll search a good to reflect the thunder)

Uniqe
Skill - "Eye of storm" self buff
Increase +1 speed, +20, %dodge last 2 turns CD 3
Shock/Stun weapon also more useful.

Don't give him lifelink(self)!

And I'll think about stat later.

Only reason I made this Idea is cause I didn't want the image go to waste and considering you wanted ( and others ) more for humans I thought this could work

Also why a spell not in game...

I think the name warmage would be best.

Electromancer is closer to divination of lighting than controller/user of lighting.

While knight mage is a no. Knights are those guys in plate mail using lances or broad sword and riding on badass horse they totally have nothing to do with mage.

Warmage or battlemage would be best different from thier cousin mage who deals dmg from afar they are more into melee that's why there is war or battle in thier name.

But... We have a warmage in game already. Maybe change to battle mage - basically same, but it won't be so visable.
