6 is too much (I want a better unit with medium cost - for humans that means max 5 cost)
has no armor.!

Spell res is lower than standard for a better unit with 4-6 cost.
And also symbolises physical toughness of unit.

Should have that "CALM" ability?

So "calm" ability
Doe to his strong relation whit wild animals the Beastmaster Can calms down any wild beast(No dragon and and horse unit)
-1 action (no attack)
-2speed
Last 2 turns
Range 3 chance 50-70 %CD?
Target units like :Warg werewolf, bear rider,
Griff, some undead monster?
(And some for Beastclans.future )


Need better name for ability ! Suggestion?

That are my suggestions to changes of this unit. this way (especially if we add some kind of Animals' den neutral structure than can train for john, emily and michael animals that we can put on map. structure can't be destroyed or captured. Land units can't move trough it) he will become pretty intresting unit. he can't target though beast units from beastclans but he can target non-mechanical giants of beastclans, dwarves, scaledfolks, elves, orcs, undeads or humans.

Stats of companions i will post a bit later.

Warg riders can't.
Because not the warg himself but his rider attacks.

But can pacify komodo dragons (without riders ones).

If the mount("horse") refuses to fight nor the rider can attack. (that's why i put - 2speed first time)

Each race one mounted beast cud work.
Dwarf - Bear rider! (can control bears )
Ork - Warg rider (smtg else?)
Elf - if get panterns riders
Human - No , majority use horses -
Undead - after monster expansion
Scaledfolk - No cold blooded animals

Whit CD and 50%chance

i disagree with this.
1. All mounted animals are trained for war and so easy you can't make them not willing to fight.
2. I don't like idea of debuffing cavalry this way especially only some of them.

Instead he can pacify olog hais and ettins of orcs, hydras (and maybe gray dragons) of scaledfolks, some giant beasts of beastclans.

Debuffing ork giants would be useful but dnot fits this unit imho.
Im agains to "stop" hidra or trolls
If can't stop a bear - rider(trained or not) nor should stop a giant beast
Thoug Is more close to bears than trolls.
From his Strong rapport to animals he can calm a bear (with a rider on top)

(may have a monster hunter unit anyway - better leave him to deal with giants )

If can stop a Warg attack(with 50%once in 3 turns) it's not op and great help to humans(unit can move freely )
That I say one mount for every race.
And big monster for humans and undead


If we can't agree than:
Pacify:affect only wild animals-from races(need list)
After Beastclans get in will have more use.

Also bonuses.
Don't give bonus to him from unit like Warg

1. he is infantry. all cavalry units MUST have bonus to him.
2. about pacify: completely disagree still with targeting cavalry and beastclan units. Cavalry is already pretty underrated class because it is easy to tear them down in pieces. no more special units who can even more weaken enemy cavalry. As for beastclans - this will be WAAAAAAAAAAAAY TOO OP against them if allow to target most of their units. Pacifying animals and enemy giants is better.

Also about bonuses i think he must have bonus to giants and higher stats.

Maybe instead of deer (they are more peaceful creatures) give hawk as a scout. Same stats as deer but with sight 6

Also they must have some cooldown in summoning.

Well, I have a image of a dog in the ranger section for a wolf replacement. Elves should be wolf users. As for bear and hawk we can work on those.
Remember to check the unit ready list for AOF to see for any changes.
