Spells: Increase vanishing, reanimate zombies,transform to necromancer(available after turn 5)
Desc:Dark Adepts were mages and healers who were fascinated by life and death.They went on a journey to become masters of life and death,but only magic they currently know is how to extend life of summoned creatures and how to summon zombies.

how about giving him special summon skill like every other step of necromancy (necromancer, lich)

Meh. Your other ideas are far better for undead. Given how each race is getting it's turn one at a time, and more ideas keep coming, I think this isn't going to get votes over some others, like the ancient skeleton series.
Currently residing at the local ninja academy. I'm still watching though.

Since they are apprentice necromancer they should have a smaller selection of necromancer's spells:

I would make them like this:
Cost: 2
Hp: 8
Power: 2
range: 1
armor: 0
pierce: 0
Sight: 3
speed: 2
action: 1
spell range: 2
spell resistance: 50%
Spells: Increase vanishing, summon zombies
Special: After 10 turns it transforms into a full fledged necromancer
This way it is mostly a support for vanishing units and it can also summon zombies (that is worse than reanimation)

ok,but i made this so undeads could have at least one good unit vs big foes and armored units.

Did you mean he can reanimate zombies or really summon them?

Actually that's part of why I made skeleton maul. It's cheap and good against armored. Nothing 2 cost should be able to deal 20 a turn without some real drawbacks.

Otherwise he might make a single target reanimation. Like the reanimation spell but only for a corpse at time

That would work. Here's an idea, give it 2 transform spells, 1 to a necromancer with 5 turn cooldown starting when he is made. The other with the 10 turn cooldown, but makes him a lich.

Nice idea. We might also give the "turn to lich" to necromancers but with a shorter cooldown

Actually adepts shouldnt be able to transform in liches,they are only apprentices, makes no sense lol.Simply remove "Transoform to lich",leave"Transform to Necromancer(5 trns),and only Necro can transform to lich(5 trns)

Btw you should really rework the image (especially the arm that hold the book)

I was that you are using my necromancer as a base so i would suggest you to followe the shading on the necromancer robe to make your own.

The necromancer should defy death or die into a lich after surviving five turns because a Lich is usually described as a wizard with enough power to prevent himself from dying.

Maybe when 5 turns pass,your effect is activate,but necro needs to be killed

For the transformation to lich to happen, it usually requires dying by one's own hand. I'd go with the transformation effect manually, rather than on death.

I think usually someone who is dying (Hp1-9),then that someone sacrifices himself become a lich

Generally liches are magic users who really WANT to become liches. They use it as a mean of becoming powerful spellcasters and continue studying magic even after death.

I've never heard of liches becoming such just after dying.

He could destroy himself to become a lich, but yeah I see your point.
