Unlocks the "Poseidon" ship type in the docks building menu.

Because for docks elves are using sacred springs i don't like idea of this ship and especially its design.
It doesn't fit to the wood elves.

Lol the current race is named as elfs.
Wood elfs, high elfs, dark elfs are just sub-races.
(So it fits)

Still i have to complain that by combining them together it makes them less thematic.

We have to discus the separation of those sub races.
(Badly i see no-onene except you to complain about this)

That ship looks pretty human. I don't really like the name too. Peseidon? Seriously, in fantasy Tolkien-style setting?If it would be based on Greek mythology at least, not Nordic... Also yeah, thsoe springs don't really fit.
I suggest changing the ship's design and name. Make sail look like giant leaf,get rid of blue and gold, replace with wood. Some branches with leafs growing from down to make it look prettier? Here we go, it now look like something fairies from sacred springs cloud bulid! For name "Elven harpoon ship" is good engoun I think, unless you find something better.
If you prefer, we can make a brand new building to build this, "High elven docks" or something. But I prefer the first solution.

If you want to add this as a unit for the current elves i would like to see it's image remade.

Also i hope to see independent sub races like high elves and wood elves (both are independent at most fantasy settings).

I don't really like idea of having more than two elven races. Creating and balancing brand new race is time consuming. Also I don't think we should have 10+ different races, and that's what will happen if we split them that much. Races should be completely different from each other, we have engoun ideas for races btw. Also in all races we have some subspecies or creature that doesn't fit the general name but are somehow connected with main creatures (like centaurs in elfs). It's most visible in races like orcs (goblin, slowly trolls began to be visible), or scaledfolks,that are most verious race (kobolds, lizardmens, snakemens, turtlemens and stuff). So if we want to add elven subspecies they should be exactly that-subspecies for elven race, not independent. It's true that in many settings they're, but be at least a little but origial maybe? If we would split them, we should do same with orcs, goblins and trolls, kobolds, lizardmens... You get it. Otherwise it's senseless.
That's my statement. Tbh I would like to see high elfs to be kind if imperials for elfs (I tried push such idea through too). But it can be different. We can even don't have them, elfs are doing fine as they are. But not high elfs as independent race. Current elfs are definitely more wood. Ofc in campaigns you can make some fights between those factions, that would even be pretty cool. Campaigns are for creativity, races for balance and not being a huge mess of little copy&paste similar stuff, but complete different both in gameplay and apperence, origin etc.
It's kind of not a good place, if we want to discuss perhaps let's make new topic?

So we got quite off topic here. Anyway, that's I think what we agreed on. We need an image remade, also someone needs to make stats. I think reviewing it is a good idea, given we are doing some naval expansions slowly.

These were supposed to go in with Sun Elves so I guess it would be like some of the suggested dwarven ships that require the gnomish clan.

I thoughted of something more bizare. Imagine that a fairy took an tree and made it into ship. An leaf sail. An wood looking like living. Some branches growing from it.

Elven dawn ships, the name would give the impression of how it should look. Or we call it something else but the reason I said elven dawn ship is because it set it apart from the other races ones.

For base part of elven race we need firstly that green regenerative thing. Aravine, i think.
Second - sirens.
Third - trident throwing ability for mermans.
Fourth - sea serpents in the sacred springs.
Fifth - no exactly ships for base elves. Instead i like idea of island turtle for elves: giant turtle (animal), on which can sit few elven units. But only elves, can't take onto shell big/heavy armored units. And which can be used as tower as well (like ents but on water).
Sixth - we need those eagle archers. Yesterday. And eagles must be producable in tcs in place of sentinels instead of in great trees. Cost can be raised by 1 for eagles.

Siren and trident throwing is already accepted and just required to be implemented as well as sea serpents trainable in sacred springs.
