gates should be able to garrison units

I think that it will be better if the movent was normal in the walls.
What i mean by this :
1. Units will still move as they did before .
2. Units movement can not go outside the wall.
3. Unit will move diagonally just by moving as they do in game but counting no terrain outside the walls and showing their movement only inside the walls block so they can not move outside. (it will be like stepping out of the wall but in the end they will be still in the wall).

Also i have to mention that i would like to see the walls and the towers be connected by a new image (just like walls-walls or walls-gates are )

Something more: it be nice when a part of the wall is destroyed the other walls near it to turn as they was before this part of the wall was build ( just to turn as this part of the wall never existed.
If someone want to do something different he can try to make images of a damged wall just to replace the image of walls near a destroyed wall.

New idea (Mega walls) :
Siege engines like catapult, ballista can not be stored in the walls but what if we make a special wall that can store such things (just like a war platform ) an example is the part of the wall from the lord of the rings movie (siege of minas tirith) where a lot of catapults are upon the walls . Another example are the walls of Constantinople.
The stats will be the same with the walls except a +10-20 hp and 1-2 turns more to be built it have one 2 slots and it can store only one siege engine (the siege engine can enter this wall [or step down] but for the next turn the sige engine can not shoot or move down).
Explanation of how these siege engines can get up to the walls: It is simple siege engines can not go up to the walls so to move them you have to depart the machine and then remake it up on the walls (this is why they can not shoot when they are up to the walls).

I definitely want to see those changes to be implemented to AOF (together with siege wepons and siege towers for every race)

How would you determine the "outside"?

I suggest making them get inside the wall first, next turn you can move them to the other side (gates are just pass-able). Because if it is garrison-able, chances that walls can be go trough are avaible making gates obsolete.

I was talking of an easier way to code how the units move when they are inside the wall

There is no place for false kings here, only those who proves themselves to b the true kings of legend, or serves under me
