'Galloping' Effect for horses

I've thought of a feature for the upgrade section for all mounted units; Called "Galloping". The idea is to allow horses to build up speed.

How it works:
If a unit on horseback moves to their full capacity (e.g. 5 paces for a knight), then on their next move they can move +1 (6 paces for the knight) , and possibly +2 paces on all moves after. To give the impression of building up a Galloping speed and help cover ground on larger maps.

However as soon as the horse makes a move less than their full capacity. They must build up the speed again and return to their maximum pace (of 5 for the knight)

This might make mounted units too fast and too powerful

Why don't make it an active skill
If you make your horse go faster you have to give up your attack

mode 1:
When you select the knight (before movement) unit it appears a button. If you press the button you gain a speed boost until the end of turn

mode 2:
After your movement you can spend your action to use an active skill. After activating that skill you can move again.
