Yabusame (Japanese Horse Archer) - IMPLEMENTED

A Mounted Samurai Archer
Yabusame is a type of mounted archery in traditional Japanese archery. An archer on a running horse shoots three special "turnip-headed" arrows successively at three targets.

I am interested but the damage is too low, it's also easily outclassed by the regular Horse Archer and Mongolian Horse archer

you mean 4 attack damages per turn (action turn= 3)

So he can make 12 damege at turn. 24 aganist men-at-arms. (Why they got this bonus?)

not actually 24 damage could be reduce the hp because they have armors

It's very similar to samurai and mongolian horse archer and has differences.

Mongolian Horse Archer:
Action Turn: 2
Attack: 5

Yabusame:
Action Turn: 3
Attack: 4

Lol I do like this idea. And why would I ever spread Japanese units, to attempt to make it so you can viably use them the same way you can use Romans? :lol:

This unit is too particular right now. It does 12 damage max in a normal turn (not that good), for a cost of 5.

Except it has 200% against the basic swordsman troop tree.

That means each attack will do 12 damage, which means that it does 36 damage total to these troops.

In other words, this will decimate swordsman, but do terribly against all else. It would make some campaign maps extremely easy, and it would be almost useless in multiplayer gameplay imo. I think upping the base damage and lowering the bonuses would be better. Maybe 6 base damage and 50% bonus: 18 total and 27 against swordsmen

I'm actually looking at it from the idea of how it works with my daimyo suggestion. +2 damage at 3 attacks gives it a bit more purpose. If blacksmith techs helped it, that's even better.

Though I think it should just have bonuses as per horse archers.
