Nice images cool guy but
Add some clarity to them
Try to make them emit fire. At present it looks like they are firing canons

Is this going to be an animated unit? As those images would be a great start to make it shoot fire :P

Greek fire siphon is a suitable name

Cool guy have you made a more clear image??

Have I posted any? ;)

So not yet.

Just to clarify: what should be more clear? That it is emitting fire and not just exploding? Should I use a flame like what is on the fire archer?

The image itself is quite unclear. Maybe you can use the fire archer for the flame but make it thicker than usual as siphons did emit a powerful flame
Thanks

Here are three tries of different takes on it. Let me know your opinion.

The 1st one looks very good, just make the flame a wee bit longer

It should be animated to shoot flames.

Alexander82, I guess you are busy now, so I hope you don't mind me making this. Or maybe you can use them as bases or ideas.

They are based off of the one on Wikipedia (a pneumatic-like device). I think ejm29 posted it earlier. What do you think of it? Which is better?

That looks more like a gun than a siphon . Also very much advanced. try to give an ancient siphon touch maybe

No problem COOLguy, btw it seems pretty modern as it is

yes, modern - i was not sure the images were designed to WW2 or CNC version or not :)

I think it needs a little editing on the gun, maybe a "container" like in the wiki image from earlier would make it seem more medievalish :)

in medieval era there were no such thing..

Now the images you made surely look like rambo holding a gun but not medievial flame throwers having siphons. They still look way modern.try changing the base image
