I like the armored image so added player colour,
Also in age of empires, two handed swordsman was the second strongest upgrade of the swordsman (the first being champion), so it wouldb a melee infantry with extremely high DMG on buildings, may b 18 atk

I suugest next, more adequate stats:
Trainable at barracks only
Cost 3
Hp 21
Attack 11
Power range 1
Speed 3
Sight 5
Armor 0
P.Armor 0
Same bonuses as samurais or hatamoto.
Can get blacksmith infantry upgrades
This way they'll become an alternative to broad swordmen (tier 1 upgrade of basic swordman)
I guess this was finalised decision

So there will be the 2 versions?

y two? we dont need that many images of only one unit, with only a few variations in stats, i like this because it has area damage but otherwise we dont need another similar unit with just higher armor, except for an upgrade though

The idea was to make it upgradable for the late game, and not be op but if its possible id like to get the other sprite in the map editor atleast so we can have both versions in game

OK sure, let's keep both with the armored being an upgrade,
Tech cost 6 turns, build able in barracks
Hp 25
Atk 14
Armor 1/0
Speed 3
Sight 5
Power range penalty 25% (deals 75% DMG to adjacent tiles from basic 50%, or about 11 DMG)
Affected by blacksmith techs

Now we just need the .json
German Landsknetch

I think this game will benefit much from these two units of infantry based on german Landsknetch
Landsknetch with greatsword (or just Greatsword)
We havent seen any units with large two handed weapons that arent polearms, and I think we could benefit from it, as the historical swordsmen, Landsknetch wuth greatswords (wavy flamberges) would have a bonus against infantry, specially spearmen, but unlike regular troops with short weapons they would not be as vulnerable to cavalry, homever they would wear little armor and be heavily vulnerable to any missile fire.
Landsknetch pikemen would be elite pike units with really long polearms, taking longer to train than others but having a range of 2 and a heavy bonus vs cavalry, as well as a slightly higher HP pool to survive the first blows of cavalry in order to counter attack, homever, no armor and vulnerable to missiles as well.
Ive attached some images as examples of these stylish war dogs!

We already have topics discussing both units and the zweihander idea has been already accepted

Even though the idea of 2 ranged melee units has not been yet fully discussed, even though I see you have certain knoweledge about this soldiers, do you have any more interest in the warfre of the 15th 16th century?
