Upgrade longbow

Becouse the Crossbow archer is much better than the longbow I will suggest a upgrade for the longbow:

Blacksmit upgrade for longbow
Speed +1 cost 7 turns
Action/ turn + 1 cost 7 turns (after speed upgrade)

Other range upgrade will still available

This too has been suggested and has been in development with the ranger...

I'm new on the forum... and did not see the upgrade was a complete developed or implement idea, so i suggest it...

I really think long bows need an upgrade mainly in range and movement. so here my upgrade's goes...
cost - 7
speed - +2
range - +2

researched at archery range and black smith
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

1. WAY too op.
2. They have blacksmith upgrade.
3. Even if you want some kind of upgrade for them then let's say
Cost 6 turns
Damage +1
Hp +3
Range stays same (trebushet had ALWAYS highest range)
Because with your suggested stats you want unit with:
attack 6 (with blacksmith 8)
range 9 (and with blacksmith 11, higher than trebushet!!!)
speed 5 (WHY? Why Foot unit will have speed of Cavalry?!)

Okay! Since my Idea was not well liked, I will try again! And to "gok" this means war! So I think the damage should be 2 or 3 more because the crossbow men have a long range and a lot of power, I am a firm believer in the range going at least 1 more and hp should be maybe bumped up by 3 or 4. I do not know the Hp of the longbowman.

Which unit is supposed to be the upgrade of this unit? I'm not in favor of giving it trebuchet range along with a generic upgrade. This game usually avoids that. I'm sorry, but I don't think they need an upgrade. I use them regularly. :)

Longbow probably doesn't need the upgrade, but I must say I don't object quite as much to the idea of it having 10 range when fully upgraded. In AoF, a fully upgraded elf archer (6 power/range +3 upgrades +1 eagle eye) can hit 10 power at 10 range at 2 cost. I understand it's a completely different game, but balance wouldn't be absolutely ruined. This being said, I would say the upgrade isn't necessary anyway.
Currently residing at the local ninja academy. I'm still watching though.
