Upgrade watch tower

Becouse manny units can see better than a watchtower I sugest a upgrade

In the advancements center a upgrade for watchtower (why is a Trebuchtte better in sight???)
+1 sight cost 4 turns
next sight +1 cost 7 turns

Total sight will after upgrades 10 even with the much to good looking Trebuchtte

Town patrol increases sight for towers/castles and such to compete with trebuchets.

No offense, but please search forums/unlock all things before posting ideas! This is the 3rd post in a row suggesting something that is already in development or has already been implemented. :|

How can you see a comfortable overview of all opportunities of units, if I look to the upgrade list, there will no town patrol avaiable, but... it is still to less a sight of 10, so town patrol is not sufficient.
This idea of uprgrade will only effect on the watch tower....

Hi,
Trebuchet yust can look this far caus it can shoot that far.
If the sight would be less then the shoot range you could see enemy
Targets caus of the red attack circel u get when you press on the trebuchet.

So it mainly is caus Danielnwould.need to reprogramm the Game to make a Low sight for far range possible.
Its also not logic to dont attack a area yust caus you can clearly see.it.

you can have lower sight than shott range.
but you will still see the target signs on the FOG.

i can implement that target signs not to appear on FOG - a little coding.

(if i understand what you mean)

Indeed, if you bring that update in to do not show targets in frog and give Trebuchet sight of max 3 than I'm comfort with the stats already there for the watch tower.
Just downgrade sight of trebuchette sounds good to me.



Why: If you start a map you wont buld a advancements center first or do that upgrade in TC becouse you will make units. Advancement center will be mostly the 4th or later bulding.. In that case you go first for upgrades like wall and gunpowder, so.. the trebuchette will be much more faster to have than a town patrol upgrade... the town patrol upgrade will have that low priorety that I wont use it, becouse trebuchette will overview so much in a wagon... So a tower is almost useless, becouse a wagon is free to move, and a trebuchette is more efficient becouse it can kill after unloading from wagon....

I'm glad we have spy's, else watch tower was useless

In fog games, yes. Especially since it is so cheap to research. :)
