Negro Regiments or Battalions & Squadrons. February Black history idea.

Post by Kdoggy26 »

An idea, for an additional rifleman unit. Maybe

Additional unit idea.
abandon tank specialist. Unit idea, When they enter they can upgrade into picking up rockets?(they only work in abandon tanks around map)

Negro Tank Battalion
I believe there were some back in the day. Cannot recall which tanks were claimed.

Tuskegee.
Flight unit.

Possible Nation With faster respawn rate due to lack of units. Lack of Negro Naval Intel or existence. Any other Negro Flight Squadrons? Then additional rifleman, machine gun, artillery.

Some of you ideas concerning Black History month I've found to be somewhat impractical and difficult to implement, and as such I don't imagine that they will be acted on.

Similar sentiments to the Abandoned Tank Specialist, which I reckon would serve no real purpose in a game that is mostly devoid of Tank Wreckage.

However, I do reckon that one idea we can most definitely implement, and that concerns the Tuskegee Airmen. They were some of the finest airmen in the American Military, and could have a place in this game. Now the Tuskegee Airmen flew P-47's and P-51's. The P-47 is already in the game, and the P-51 will be in eventually. Now, I reckon that every February, we can change the image of the P-47 and P-51 to have a red tail, nose, and/or rudder (the Tuskegee Airmen painted these parts of their planes red, leading to them being called the "Redtails" when they were in combat), perhaps a name change and description change to recognize the Tuskegee Airmen.

This idea may have to be voted on, but I reckon it would be a nice addition to Black History Month.
