no, they dont need to be black, only dark enough to look black. it is ok, i suggest making the big building too, that is the most characteristic.

I had to make the contours as dark as they are, otherwise they would blend in with courtyard, sidewalks, or the other buildings.

Judging from what people are saying on the discord, the graphic has received a generally positive response from the community. Yet a topic that I'm used to seeing being brought up is the inclusion of both my Image and the original, with the original being used as the image of the 'Urban Area' an idea being suggested by Samuelch, or as a secondary look for the TC. @Stratego (dev) Which idea should we pursue, or modify so that it can be pursued?

i think we need more teamcoloring.
i suggest coloring the brown one rigth below the main "most characteristic" chuch like building. the brown one u faded a bit last time.
lezs make it not brown, but teamcolored

I certainly hope so. When I can finish the Fence images, I'd like to devote some of my time to the other half of the topic name: Factory Buildings. Perhaps a new look for the German and Soviet Barracks. I'm tired of getting the three mixed up, as they are identical.

but temacolor work only with teamcolor color, check the teamcolorng guide.

Let me explain it to u, darkest shade has code 255:0:255, lightest shade has code 255:255:255
(Some apps show them has ff:00:ff and ff:ff:ff)

So by changing the number of the middle code, u can give different team coloured shades, do ur app allows RGB colours? I think keeping R and B maxed, u only change G (green) to give different shades

But if u understand wat I meant u can try practicing on the flag, or some other image u r working on, try giving light and dark shades

actually there is a tool in GIMP by which i can turn any part of an image to a teamcolored, still "shaded" one.

here is how:
- you select the part u want to be proper teamcolored
- select colors/"curves" tool
- select red channel and move "curve" to the topleft corner
- select blue channel and move "curve" to the topleft corner
- select alpha channel and move "curve" to the topleft corner

and you are ready, the image is still "shaded" - i mean there are diffecrent teamcolor darknesses - but all pixel is proper teamcolor.

maybe you can post this on temcolor topic - if u did not know it.

I use Pixly. I've heard a lot about Gimp, but I doubt I will change my tool so late in the game, but thanks all the same.
I'll see about posting this in the Team color topic, wherever that is.

Great, me too, on pixly its super easy to use team colour on rgb, put red and blue maxed, and only change the middle green bar

ok, but i feel you make temacoloring pixel by pixel - if u want a nicely "shaded" result.

this way a non team colour complete image part can be turned (keeping the image) to a teamcoloured one in one shot. see this sample

(i also put it into faq)

The Team color on the white building and the building behind it weren't windows, they were banners hanging off the walls.

Here are some new images. I used those different shades of teamcoloring to add some detail to the building and the flag. I restored the Team Colored banners to the other buildings, but if you want them to be windows that display the state of the TC, whether or not it's occupied, just say so.
