I think we could use some egyptian, even info historical section, if anyone would like to design, we will need new decoraion/or building stuff too.

Here are some Egyptian units designed by my sister Elvenprincess (the awesome pixel artist) per request of TheBluePhoenix for an upcoming Egypt campaign.

Daniel thought it best if they were posted on here to get the feedback of all the forumers. So please tell us what you think.

Also cool guy, can you ask her to give the same blue touch to the peltast? It looks awesome on the swordsman. And yes,, i think you did not notice but peltasts had a charecteristic crescent shaped shield called pelta or something . Thats missing here.please ask her to add that in too

And dev can you implement triggers to change stats of a lot of units together?
I want to give egyptian units some extra terrain benefits using triggers and others some losses

you can define it in the stats, you dont need triggers for that.

no i mean that i want all other units to suffer -1 speed and -5 attack power after the first ten turns turns and -1 attack power every 5 turns after that. On egyptian terrain. You will get more idea after i make first map. I may not be able to explan everything here . If possible please implement that .it will be useful for other campaigns also.Such things are better implemented using triggers i think
The stats for egyptians will remain the same

at first only for his campaigns.
but you can call any of them to a be an "upgrade" unit and put it onto the monthly vote. so we can turn any of them to be an upgrade.

Ok well thanks but the real winner is coolguy and his sis
Well i feel the egyptian infantry was weak but the peltast is worthy of becoming a new unit and the charioteer is surely the best upgrade unit for the chariot archer

Hi,
Nice Units, amazing Designs...

BUT...historical correctness...
Well aegyptian had simply no real sword units.
They had many chariots and spearman.
I own and often play the game Rome Total War.
There are mainly all historical units that exsisted in
Europe and north africa cultures while rome exsisted.
I designed now one strong historical unit. .. a bit like the spartan
Hoplites they has been a well trained and known
Unit in the acient ages...The Nile Spearman.

Stats like the spartan hoplite yust a bit weaker and only
4 turn cost!!!

Naah i checked- apart from peltasts and charioteers they also had swordsman - weak , fast low on morale but high endurance. I tried to find but couldnot find any strong infantry unit as u are suggesting. May be i am mistaken or you are .can you send a link about this spartan type unit?

The Egyptian Swordman was more widely used in the later times (during the Caliphate). It was then that the scimitars were more widely used.

The chariots are the most commonly known ancient Egyptian unit - they began during the Middle Kingdom, I think.

The Nile Spearman looks cool though - maybe he can be in too. (This is like during the era of Heracles' attack on Africa right?)

I will post the edits shortly.

Hi
I searchwd again...
They had a pre form of a sword in the last years befire
The defeat of eagypt. It was more cryscent/sickle (translate thruh google)
But in the main time of eagyptian raise they used bows, chariots, copper axes
And spears or halberds!!!

That's what i found out but i searchd only on german sides.
