I was thinking if it were to be possible to make skins to change units to your liking and appearance at the cost of gems :p

Cosmetic technology. Useless, but noice! My buddy i think you gave me a great idea ....

I love the idea because:
-it will bring a unick look to its player army
-i love skins
-people like me that have taken all the upgrades from the upgrade section will be very happy to see things to spend gems...
-variety was never a bad thing !!!!!

We can do LOTR and other fantasy based stuff :p

I agree with the whole idea and every of its aspects

Propose a unit and a style so we can start !!!!

I think it might be a little difficult to implement.

it takes couple of months to make a code or script... and many works for their images, sorry.

Back in McDonald's. This is absolutely wonderful, it could be hard or could be simple. depends how you do it, maybe you could look around and see if anyone else has something like this and you the copy there code.
