Technology ideas

Apparently we need more techs for other races so... ;)


Orcs:

- ORDER
Maybe a technology for orcs that allows the player to control them easier?

- WALLS
Allows orcs to build rough walls, stronger than stone pile and maybe even human wall, but takes 5 turns

- BATTLE CRY
Melee Orcs are 50% stronger for the next 3 turns
Can be repeated

Undead:

- SACRIFICE
Every friendly unit killed after this has a 50% chance of dropping a corpse that 50% more powerful than usual

- AWAKENING
Every corpse on the entire game board is resurrected
Can be repeated
Takes many turns...

Elves

- TRACKING
Every elf can see 1 tile further

- NATURE
Natural units (e.g. ents, wolves) have boosted stats

- HARMONY
For 1 turn, all attacks are boosted by 100%

I think that's it...

pretty good ideas, and new aproaches!
I mean the "event" or global effect is a new one!
Like the "BATTLE CRY"

we have no such at the moment, but good idea, i like the best the undead "AWAKENING - all corpses reanimation" on the entire map
- however it can be too op: eg. if there are 4-6 players and the other players are killing each other like hell, and they undead player needs no any army only inventing this "event" that will bring him/her a ton of units from all the corpses
- maybe we could maximizing teh effect somehow... or making it too costy - i dont know.
ADDITIONAL idea to these events direction: if someone starts to invent such global event than all players can see it and can see how many turns left to reach the event (and maybe they can rush the TC that is inventing it to cut the event (maybe this is public too - that which TC is inventing it) .
(i think i will open a new topic to these - talk these event ideas there)

"WALLS": as i remember the "itiner" we have we have not good construction vein for orcs, so maybe we should use some strengthening of units like techs
"SACRIFICE": undead does not drop corpse now, you say if he has this tech he will have chance to get corpse from his own unit, or you mean increasing the possiblity to animate better units from enemy corpses?
"TRACKING": good!
"NATURE": good! which stats you suggest? on which units exactly?

For "ORDER", I noticed in another topic you talked about an orc that would be uncontrollable. Well maybe if all orcs are hard to control from the start (eg an effect called blood rush that makes them attack anything (with reduced attack) or go anywhere for 1-2 turns and appears on random chance if the orc attacks something), and this tech makes that random chance smaller.

For "SACRIFICE" I didn't know undead didn't drop corpses :)
But here is alternative
When undead is killed, instead of 0% chance of dropping corpse, 5-15% chance of dropping a super-corpse (I don't have a better name atm) and a super corpses, when resurrected, builds a super-strong skeleton.
...or...
When an undead is killed, 10-20% chance one of their TCs will skip a turn (i.e. pass 2 turns instead of one)

"WALLS" what is "itiner"?

"NATURE" - How about a 20% att boost for any non-human, alive units for the rest of the game
