What about racial fun units?

Sherlock Holmes the Detective, for humans only fun unit.

Great at discovering secrets, spying, melee fighting with someone of his size.
Brings fear to hearts of all criminals.

Cost - 7 turns, trainable at castle. Unique unit.
Hp - 44
Attack - 12, disenchant weapon passive
Range - 1
Actions/turn - 2
Armor - 1/1
Dodges - 30%/30%/70%
Speed - 4
Sight - 9, can see invisible units.
Spell resist - 100%
Has 100% bonus to all melee units (infantry, giants, cavalry, flying.......)
Abilities:
Disenchant
Fear
Transform (becomes invisible, looses -1 speed, gains ability to mountainwalk (2), gains +20% to all dodges).
