Tankhead, I've said it before but I'll say it again. The Knighthood of Aurora Argentum is not more than a sub-faction.

Set up as seen...

Tech to research: The Coming of Dawn (3 turns) MUST RESEARCH AT CHURCH

Tier 1

Unlock:

Argentum Cathedral (building) or Grand Cathedral
Argent Battle Tower
Goven Herløv
Silver-Winged Falcon

Tech to unlock tier 2: The Blush of Dawn (6 turns)

Tier 2

Unlock:

Argent Cavalier
Argent Emissary
Argent Crossbowman
Argent Sverdestave
Argent Guardian

Tech to unlock tier 3: Daybreak (9 turns)

Tier 3

Unlock:

Sacred Tracker
Seeker
Argent Saint
Celestial Dragon/Etherial Storm Dragon

Techs unlocked for research:
Smite: 5 turns
Etherial spells (1 for each) 3 turns each
Mountianwalking (maybe a possibility, if 1 takes this much time for research) 12 turns

I am putting everything up front.
They are affected by the Blacksmith Upgrades, they haven't other upgrades of their own besides what was mentioned
The order is set up like the uruks in structure, instead of upgrade it adds new unit selection. More variety for those who like playing holy orders. With their current strength per unit, they won't need upgrades.

This was all put together and thought about instead of adding a little bit here and there later, like what is happening now with the Imperial Expansion pack and the Phantom Exansion pack. Plus I saw suggestions for more Uruk units (ie: caragors, Uruk Caption, etc)

@Savra, the Storm Dragon looks suprisingly good. Looks menacing...
The celestial Dragon needs shading then it will be good. Like the look :D

Yeah, agree
Being sub or not, don't need to double units.

We have knight and templar knight.(must stay with main race) have almost same stats and cost.

And imho that's better for humans to get some better units (what have good survival rate, useful skill) without a research, from a basic building.

And again don't double all tipe unit roles for this faction cous either will oppres the main or will be inutil. And at end gets more units than main race.
No, archer, swordmsn, javelin, cleric, etc.
(we have paladins, rangers, and Sun knight, valkiry - waiting to get accepted and implementation)


So chose those with unique role, what lack from the main race
(eg demon hunter, sacred traker could be here)

Would this be adequate?

Cathedral (Recruit Building) upgrade from church, allowed recruit of Templars, Hospitallers, Paladin, etc
Argent Battle Tower (AOE human tower)

Seeker (converting Swordsman)
Silver-Winged Falcon (fast support)
Sacred Tracker (powerful, specialized)
Emissary (light lancer, can heal)
Celestial Dragon
Sverdestave (strong anti-cav, Dragonslayer, Giant-slayer

Or less?

If you don't want the Ethereal storm dragon it'll become an auxiliary unit for scaledfolks storm dragon.

As for your argent elites I think they are fine, as well as the ones you listed.

Just as long as the elites are swordmen, archer, spearmen, and cavalry, then that should be fine. As for titan I think we could still have that. Just make this race researched through the church.

I want it, and that is what I did.

People are saying that I am overlapping units, they are different for heaven's sake!
I made each unit with careful consideration, they have a unique purpose.

Crossbowman- Armored Archer (Elite Archers look like they have armor, but they don't)
Sverdestave- Anti-Dragon & Cav (Perfect defense, humans don't have enough dragonslayer units, assassin gets killed B4 closing with Orc dragon due to AOE 2, not enough Hp/ dodge...)
Guardian- Shielder/Defender (kinda must since humans are almost always on defense)
Cavalier- Healing knight (Perfect example of a Knight in shining armor)
Emissary- human scout and lancer (multi-purpose)
Saint- like... A divine warmage! (Umm... Self explained, with "The All New Etherial Magic") :D

I can't draw Titans (celestial Giants)... Too detailed for me, yet...

2)For stats wait until at least 3 normal "holy " unit is in than have better view.
3)There is the Warfell faction what also may doubles some roles as heavy infantry or skilled multitalented fighters.
What already too much. When main race lacking so many thing.
So recomand, check em up, conciliation with General Brave,
(And tell me about it cos the current concept is as dark as the starless sky for me.. :D)

1. Who said anything about the Titan flying? Wings could just be for decoration.

Valkryie isn't in yet, and neither is the angel

2. When will that be? I've been making comparisons with Templars (both in suggestions for AoF, and implemented AoS)
3. Whenever a subrace is put in, there is ALWAYS an overlap.
Examples:
Orcs: Uruk hai (Armored orc warrior)
Undead: phantoms
Humans: Guard (Halberdier)

Warfell: Arcane Militaristic NATION
Argentum: Holy Order (much smaller, divine magic)

Performed comparison between Warfell and Argentum units

1. Warfell holds a lot more in variety
2. Storyline focus is different (Warfell: Arcane, Argent: Divine)
3. Base unit difference: Warfell units have higher armor rating, Argentum units have higher speed and hold divine abilities for every unit) Archers (Warfell has higher damage/ Argentum has higher range) Argentum units have mountainwalking tech.

But... Each sub-faction has its own unique units.

Warfell: Crystal Dragon, Mages, flameshooter, unique units (King Greystone & Queen Serenity),etc
Aurora Argentum: Celestial Dragon, Titans, Sacred Tracker, Seeker, Etherial Storm Dragon, Etherial Magic, etc

While similar, there are distinguishable differences.
I suppose that they are meant to complement each other...

The Knighthood of Aurora Argentum was inspired by Warfell, so I guess that's why.
