Personally i like this game as it is now exept of lack of terrain tiles.
Units don't need big changes in their graphics because:
1. This is strategy game – more details (animation and such) will distract from main part of the game.
2. This will be a real pain to animate all units' movement and especially attack.

I actually think that the game is fine on graphics. Otherwise people will keep pushing for all this 3d memory hogging graphics instead of appreciating the game. We have quite a few terrains as well, so I would put graphics on the back burner.

Unless we can easily get amazing graphics that don't increase the file size lol

We can keep it simple, perhaps the four directions.

I still think that only thing it needs is more terrain tiles.

Swamps are definately needed - act as barrier for all mechanical unit like wagons and chariots but cavalry and infantries can move through with penalty: -1 speed for infantries and -2 to cavalries (flat, cavalry with speed 6 can move through swamp for 4 tiles and elephants can move on 1 tile only if they got there).

Special units like ranger and ninja can move there without penalty.


Also i want to see different version of current grass tiles, darker variant and dying variant (so it will be more brown with just few green parts left).

right now some units default face left, some face right, if it is posible to change direction they face only by changing angle, reflecting or some other easy way that doesnt require making new images or much space to code then i support, if it is complex and takes too much space making game slower then i dont

Making tile independent decorations (so eg. a little flower can be put anywhere)

now a decoration can only placed as a "tile" over a tile, with this u can have a little flower like 5x5 pixel size and put any amount of these flowers into one tile if u like, or over tile edges
