Well i see that many players have not been able to get a chance to participate in dooms tournament
So i would like to give every one a notice in advance that i will start an official (i will take permission from dev) tournament after 3 months. It will have a huge gem bonus (hopefully) and the winner will get bragging rights too. I am thinking of including 16 players. I am one of them. So any one interested may sign up. Then donot complain i did not give u time

Donot worry all- your places are booked and you may confirm them later. I will lay down some rules to generate interest- 1. All maps will be 20x20-30x30 for first two rounds , 30x30 , 40x40 for the next two and the finals will be on 50x50
2. Hoping to generate a prize money of 300 gems.
Each player should have about 50 gems and will win or lose some every round. Each round 1 winners will get a nominal gem reward depending on which round they reach after losing. so it is a win a win situation for all.
3. You get to chose whom you are fighting , as everyone here is a pro. If not, then no problem he will be randomly placed with anyone
4. Map settings, names and the tournament chart will be released after i get free

What if we had a turn limit, and the player with the most points after the turn limit wins? I was thinking 100 turns should be enough.

This course make the tournament more interesting and quicker.

I was thinking of the same idea after the first two rounds to make the map short. And yes 100 turns is way too much. Any game will be over by then
Max 20-30 turns is sufficient for such point rounds. And the points shall be cumulative, i.e how well u played the previous match will affect your selection in the next round. I was thinking that each player should put a screenshot of the game after the set turns and then i will make a table of how many points each player had, and half of them will be added to the next round points . The one who has highest cumulative points will move to the next round

But ido agree that 100 turns is monsterous..im in a multiplayer game atm, an ive done my ONE (an only) turn in somein like 72hrs+ lol. Of course it would be diferent with actual active plyers..id like to get into one of these games.
