German: U-boat Pen (trains u-boat, store and repair many ships, capacity=4, 2x3 size)
American: Atomic bomb (expensive 2x2 building, expensive, need Manhattan project research)
All: Coastal defenses complex (3x2 defensive structures with multiple actions), huge wall (1x3 size, capacity=3 units, multiple actions many guns, see maginot line), huge bunker (2x3 size, capacity=4, protection and healing), huge airfield (capacity=4, 2x2 size, store planes and repair them), dockyard (capacity=2x3 size, store ships and repair them)

Too many of them are similar, we might add some refernce to the massive defensive wall with artillery France has put up facing only germany.

I don't think we can have any massive structure that produces units and makes much sense in terms of the WW2 and the game, so we might just keep it strictly to be used as defense.

i saw a series on nat.geo. about german "mega structures" so there were mega sized factories and so on.

Mega factories kinda sound distasteful, but I need to the know what super structure it is you are talking about exactly.. :P

i remember
- super factories, like "u boat factories" on north in germany,
- and i remember big fortresses (tower like things made of concrete, and was practically indestructible - still stands there)
- mega bunkers under mountains wit again factories.
- there was also a mega sized cannon that can be moved by only train.
- also there was some kind of mega sized battleship (very late war) - that had few chance to fight tough (before get sinked)
- also was the mega-big "mouse" tank that was a battleship on ground, however only in prototype phase (as i know)

this is what i remember.

The huge cannon you are talking about is the gustav. It never left the blueprint papers, so i dont think we should add it.

Again, "P.1000 Ratte" :D

Also you think we could add trains to the game?
It is a very much interesting idea, I don't think I've seen it much in WW2 based games.

The mega ship is the mighty Bismarck.
*Already in the game"

A factory under mountains sounds a little bit hard to do with the current mountain formations we have in game.

Mega U-boat factory sounds good.

bismark: idk sizes, but if that was really much bigger than other battleships than we can make it bigger ... however we had problem moving bigger units - so lets drop this idea :)

mouse: rattle? idk, but think of a 4 story height tank what i am talking about with naval cannons on it (2 cannons)

factory under mountains: in AOF we have the mountain for orcs, this could be similar.

Shwerer Gustav is real and was used against Soviet Union.

It was used in siege of Sevastopol.

Maybe it doesnt have to be 2×3, I have an idea: ' Field Headquarters' a 2×2 building. i have no idea for an image or what it could build.

exactly! And, who said it has to be castle size. A 2 by 2 building fits AoWW better imho

yes many buildings were bigger than ancient structures but most were smaller than castles.

You know what we could use? Some large decorative buildings like the Colosseum in Age of Strategy.
We could have the Eiffel Tower, Brandburg Gate, Big Ben, Lady Liberty, The Kremlin, and..... the Colosseum!
We could take both the Colosseum and the Egyptian Pyramids straight from AOS, and create the other landmarks later.
They would be available only in the map editor.
We also need some landmark buildings for China and Japan, though I'm not sure which ones since my knowledge of those countries is limited.

nice idea the mapeditor landmarks, but here we thought of buildable mega buildigs, like the castle in aos

Why not a mega fortress (the same as castle)? Except you really want it from history.

Those tower like things were FLAK towers. A few were in berlin and vienna maybe also other citys idunno. Walls of 8 metre thik concrete, some took multiple direct bombs and had barely a dent. Attempts to tear them down were unsuccessful and expencive so they still stand.
