Siege shield - IMPLEMENTED

unit. can be built in 4 turns.
can carry 3 units. only flesh and blood units can enter it
movement is 1.
units can attack from behind it.
hp: 25
armor:1
pierce armor: 4-6
100% resistance.

It would be used as a movable wall.

Wouldn't it be better to build battering rams though. They have faster movement more firce amour and attack. I like idea but it is too similar to battering ram.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. Its basically a battering ram, but not as powerful.

The key difference between the seige wall and a battering ram is the units inside a battering ram can't attack while in the batting ram. The seige wall would be like a mobile fort that archers can shoot from.

Hmm ?? Its heavy but use full when its nearby in the wall the unit can go in the other side?? That is the best means for this In the history 8-)

No. I think it should not hold more than 3 and could attack from behind or it will be too similar to the battering ram

So 3 is the better capacity and I think cannot attack or less it have 0 or 1 only damage because the general ability of this unit is defence and not attacking

This is used to defend units inside but units inside should attack but the siege shield wont have high attack. And this unit does not have too much health and only 1 armor so it should be easy to break with infantry so units inside could all die if this breaks

That's right but I confuse so this is not a shielder because it easily break I know in the history the Shielder is like only the trojan horse

I mean that this unit is best for unbreakable defence like its name shoulder means defense or defensive

Siege shields were built from wood and wood isn't any unbreakable material.

It should just be made of wood so easy to break to increase risk of units inside siege shield getting killed all together but units inside can attack so it will be a very good to attack enemy units

Units aren't really inside though its just a portable large shield that you carry set down and attack from behind a protection from arrow attack could shield 2 or 3 archers, but shield could be destroy by swordsman pikeman or horsed units?

As COOLguy pointed out its just for protection,but some how as the shield moves the 2 archers should move simultaneously with it is this possible for programming? Also this action I believe should us both action turns of both archers carrying it. In other words archers either carry or shoot in their turn, what do you guys think?
