Will be implemented! Awesome job to the forumers who helped get this unit ready. The stats in game will be pretty much the same as here. It is conquerable like a tc - don't leave it lying around!
Thanks!

Only if you don't want it to be implemented for a few years :) The extra coding makes it take a long time
Thanks!

Right now it is more like a 'warrior' transport ship

Just a basic spy like stealth would be easier to implement and give it the same strategic use.

However, that extra one move is really what makes it useful, more than the fighting capability. If it was given a "stealth" ability, it would need to cost at least 6-7 for sure, or the tech must be very turn-costly to invent.

Viking ship is ready for testing! Please test it thoroughly. Here is the way it should work:

- enemy is in the ship
- you attak the ship, enemy is killed first
- you can attack the ship again to destroy it
- or occupy it and it is yours

One known bug that we might publish it with:
- if i start to burn down an enemy viking ship
- and after occupying it
- i can not remove the burning effect by a worker... - because the logic sees that it was put by "you" so it must be good for your warship (so thinking it is a friendly effect on that ship) :)

Please test!!

(If we did spy, that would be bad because then you could kill the whole ship just by sitting on it) Idk that Viking ships were any more stealthy than other people's ships...
Thanks!

Viking ships were not stealthy, but viking tactics were. :)

And yes, I don't think that stealth is the way to go, I was simply adding my 2 cents to that part of the discussion

Enemy got my Viking ship.I kill that enemy inside ship. When I put units that not supposed to get in the ship(eg heavy knight), sometimes the picture of heavy knight just stuck on that tile(heavy knight still in original position) . Only can control that knight after no enemy units stand that tile or enemy attack heavy knight .

I have public version. I unlocked the Viking Ship, yet in random games, (haven't checked multiplayer) I can't build it in a dock. (Or tcs, I checked there too) Is this on purpose? I even tried a spell yes (10) game but it didn't work

I can not wait to use it
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
